Papineau, Gertrude Passed away peacefully surrounded by family at the St. Catharines General Hospital on Friday, February 23, 2018. In her 97th year, Gertrude Marie Jeanne Papineau (nee Bouchard). Beloved wife of the late Jean Papineau. Loving mother of Yvon (Sheryl),Monique Dorling, Benoit (Gaetane), Guy, Lise (Dan Van Beers),Gerald (Patricia), Mariette (Craig Lincoln), Michel, and Denis (Toni). Lovingly remembered by her many grandchildren and great grandchildren. Dear sister of Louisette. Fondly remembered by her nieces and nephews. Predeceased by sons Jean Paul, Andre and Aurele. and by eleven brothers and sisters. Visitation will be held at Patrick J. Darte Funeral Chapel, 39 Court Street, St. Catharines (905-685-6584) on Friday, March 2, 2018 from 10am until 10:45am. A Funeral Mass will celebrated at St. Alfred Roman Catholic Church, 272 Vine Street, St. Catharines (905-934-9703) on Friday, March 2, 2018 at 11am. Rite of committal to follow at Victoria Lawn Cemetery.
