Obituary of Rose LaPlante

LaPLANTE, Rose Alice Peacefully at Welland Hospital in her 89th year. Loving mother of Michel (Marlene) and Francine (Michael) Hogan. Dear grandma of Todd, Susan and Sheena. Doting great-grandma of Madeline and Camilia Rose. Rose will be fondly remembered by her siblings Jacqueline, Threse, Lise, Monique and Gaston. Rose was predeceased by her husband Robert “Bob” Venance, parents Emile and Lillian and her brothers Armand, Clement, Gilles and Richard. Rose was a dedicated member of the C.W.L. and lifelong member of St. Mary’s Roman Catholic Church. Rose was also active in the West St. Catharines Retirement Association. She will be fondly remembered by her many friends and acquaintances who knew her. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Mary’s Roman Catholic Church on Tuesday September 18, 2018 at 10:30 a.m. Rite of Committal to follow at Pleasantview Memorial Gardens. Memorial Donations may be made to a charity of your choice in Rose’s memory.
