~ Passed away peacefully at St. Catharines Place in St. Catharines on Tuesday, October 13, 2015. In his 91st year, Harvey Melvin Kramer, beloved husband of the late Patricia Kramer (nee Cunningham).Loving father of Sharon and Candace. Loved grandpa of Tod (Melanie), Christine (Jason), Jason, Jesse, Santanna, Aleesha and Jessica and his great grandchildren. Dear brother of Johnny (Mabel). Fondly remembered by his many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his son Lawrence, two sisters Ann and Marlene and by two brothers Peter and Elliott. Harvey retired from General Motors in 1981 and was a member of Local 199 C.A.W., he served overseas with the 85th Bridge Co., R.C.A.S.C. and was a member of the Royal Canadian Legion Branch #24. Visitation will be held at the Patrick J. Darte Funeral Chapel, 39 Court Street, St. Catharines (905-685-6584) on Thursday October 15, 2 015 from 2pm to 4pm and 7pm to 9pm. Vigil prayers will be held at the funeral home on Thursday October 15, 2015 at 3:30pm. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at the Cathedral of St. Catherine of Alexandria, 67 Church Street, St. Catharines (905-684-3964) on Friday, October 16, 2015 at 10am. Interment in Pleasantview Memorial Gardens Cemetery, Fonthill. Memorial donations to either the Ontario Heart & Stroke Foundation or to the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated by the family.
