Obituary of Yvonne Duemo

Duemo, Yvonne Passed away peacefully with her loving family by her side at the St. Catharines General Hospital on Tuesday, March 15, 2016. In her 92nd year, Yvonne Lucienne Duemo (nee Dumont), beloved wife of Ted (Robert Edward) Duemo. Loving mother of Bob Duemo(Sue), Carolyn (Lou Vendittelli), Edward Duemo (Debbie) and Jim Duemo. Loved grandma of nine grandchildren and eighteen great grandchildren. Dear sister of Maurice Dumont (Joyce) and Delores (Sister Andrea) Dumont. Fondly remembered by her in laws, nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her parents Orienne and William Dumont and by three brothers George, Andre and Wilfred. Mom was a dedicated parishioner of St. Alfred Catholic Church, a member of the Catholic Women’s League for sixty-two years. Visitation will be held at Patrick J. Darte Funeral Chapel, 39 Court Street, St. Catharines (905-685-6584) on Sunday, March 20, 2016 from 2pm to 4pm and 7pm to 9pm. Vigil prayers will be held at the funeral home on Sunday, March 20, 2016 a 3:30pm. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Alfred Roman Catholic Church, 272 Vine Street, St. Catharines (905-934-9703) on Monday, March 21, 2016 at 11am. Rite of Committal to follow at Pleasantview Memorial Gardens Cemetery, Fonthill.Memorial donations to St. Vincent de Paul Society would be appreciated by the family.
