Obituary of Jack Miller

Miller, Dr. Jack Suddenly at the Buffalo General Hospital on Thursday, April 21, 2016. In his 77th year, Jack Martin Miller, beloved husband of Mary Jane Miller (nee Miller). Brother-in-law of Bob Kenigsberg and his late wife Helene. Fondly remembered by his nephews Alan, Daniel and Michael Kenigsberg and their families. Born in Cornwall, Jack went on to receive a PhD. from McGill University and a PhD. from Cambridge University, United Kingdom. He taught from 1966 until 2004 retiring as AVP Research and Dean of Graduate Studies. On retiring, he became Special Consultant of Buildings and Space. He would have reached fifty years of service at Brock University in July 2016. Jack was highly regarded by colleagues and his students. Jack was an active member and a board member of the B’nai Israel Congregation. Jack was an avid cook and gardener, and a voracious reader. A funeral service will be held at Patrick J. Darte Funeral Chapel, 39 Court Street, St. Catharines (905-685-6584) on Monday, April 25, 2016 at 2pm. Interment in B’nai Israel Cemetery. Memorial donations to either the B’nai Israel Congregation or the Brock University Scholarship Fund would be appreciated by the family.
