Obituary of Vince Mambella

MAMBELLA, Vince On Saturday May 28, 2016 at the age of 83. Loving husband of Stella (Kocon) for 62 years. Devoted father of Georgina (Bill) Sheldon, Jim (Linda) Mambella, Lisa (Rick) Tureski and Tina (Paul) Brisbin. Caring grandfather of Katlyn (David) Fanning, Taylor Sheldon, Marina and Justine Mambella, Nicholas (Carla) Tureski, Brooke (Cody) Tureski, Madison and Alex Brisbin. Vince was the brother of Julian (Barbara) Mambella, brother-in-law of Jennie (Stan, 2008), Pogoda and Helen (Gino) Francavilla. Vince will be missed by his many nieces and nephews. Vince was a long time employee of General Motors and retired at the age of 65. Visitation will be at the Patrick J Darte Funeral Chapel, 39 Court St, St. Catharines (905-685-6584) on Friday June 3, 2016 from 6pm to 9pm. Vigil prayers will be held at the funeral home on Friday, June 3, 2016 at 8pm. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Helen's Roman Catholic Church, 4106 Mountain St., Beamsville (905-562-7427) on Saturday, June 4, 2016 at 12 noon. Private family interment will take place. In lieu of flowers, the family asks donations be made to the Multiple Sclerosis Society and Sick Kids Hospital.
