Obituary of Mary Mildred Kocis

KOCIS Mary Mildred “Millie” – Peacefully at home on Friday, March 8, 2013 in her 78th year. Beloved wife of Anton “Tony” for almost 60 years. Loving mother of Thomas Anthony and daughter in law Karen. Predeceased by son Patrick Robert (Bobby) in 1976. Dear Grandmother of Christopher, Kyle and Bobby. Loving Great Grandmother to Devon, Brody, Quinntinn, Gracie and Grier. Millie grew up in Noranda, Quebec and was the oldest girl of 11 children. Survived by brothers Dick, Wesley and Dudley and sister Bradley. Millie enjoyed being a member of Lipa Park for over 40 years. An avid sports fan she loved to encourage and support her sons, grandchildren and great grandchildren in all of their endeavors. Friends will be received at the Patrick J. Darte Funeral Chapel (39 Court Street, St. Catharines 905-685-6584) on Thursday March 14th from 10 a.m. until the time of service in the chapel at 11am. In lieu of flowers memorial donations to Toronto's Sick Kids Hospital would be appreciated by the family.
