Obituary of Lillian Eva Diggins

DIGGINS, Lillian – Passed away peacefully on August 19, 2021 in her 97th year. Predeceased by her husband, Raymond Diggins. Beloved mother to Dan and Denis (the late Jean). She will be greatly missed by her grandchildren; Ashley, Daniel, Ryan, Sarah, Adrienne, and Hannah. A devoted mother, Lillian was always involved in her children’s lives and was a devoted wife to Raymond, who she always loved and missed. She was a member of the Catholic Women’s League; and when she was younger, loved to golf and bowl. Patrick J. Darte Funeral Chapel (39 Court Street, St. Catharines) has been entrusted with arrangements. Visitation will take place on Saturday, August 21, 2021 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Vigil Prayers will be recited at 2:30 p.m. A Funeral Mass will be held at St. Julia Roman Catholic Church on Monday, August 23, 2021 at 9:30 a.m. Rite of Committal to be held at Victoria Lawn Cemetery at a later date.
