Mildred was dearly loved here on Pleasantview Lane (Cherryhill). While we were aware of her health issues it was quite a shock when we found she had passed away. She didn’t do it quietly either she had a big fire truck, two paramedics vehicles and two police cars come to her home that night She never gave up trying to fight her illness. She would always shout across the street to us to see how we were doing. Through all this she had to have her hair done! Will miss our chats along with a cup of tea outside in the nice weather. Sorry we never got to say goodbye to this beautiful woman so we will now say….
“Goodbye dear Mildred” ….Tom and Val…RIP
To you her family your presence in Mildred and Carl’s life these past many weeks has been amazing and Carl and Mildred will know they were loved.

Carl, oh so shocked to hear of your great loss of Mildred. I met her several times at your house in Burlington. I knew her barely, but through our many years of friendship, you always praised her and it felt like I’ve known her forever. Through our conversations, I know how much she meant to you and that she was such a wonderful, caring wife and mother to your girls. My sincere condolences, my friend!

Uncle Carl Karen Jo-anne and family.
We hope the wonderful memories that Aunt Mildred has left behind will help you through this sad time. My fondest memories were weekends away traveling to Toronto Windsor London and Bellville. Wherever she was she made a home for family and friends. My favorite memorie was on her past birthday I made her a butterscotch pie. When I arrived at the house she promptly made me hide it in the oven as Jo-Anne was coming and she didn't want to share. I'm hoping that the pie was as good as Aunt Mildred's cooking was famous for. Dad always said no one could cook as good as Aunt Mildred's. Aunt Mildred I hope there is butterscotch pie in heaven so you can redeem yourself by sharing with my dad.
God Bless Sandy and John

Mildred was a dear and trusted friend. She was the HOSTESS with the MOSTESS, and always a joy to be with. We had many good times shared with Carl and Mildred, in our homes and visits to the casino in Niagara Falls. Mildred always seemed to be on the winning end, at our casino visits. We all marveled at her good luck or 'secret skill', it was all in good fun. Conversations and happy times will be always cherished with Carl and Mildred. We will miss Mildred greatly, especially me, Carol, as we had some beautiful and treasured talks on the phone. I am going to miss those chats and well wishes from Mildred. Now I will look upward to Heaven to keep those conversations going. Love you Mildred, God Bless, Rest in peace dear Sister in Christ. xoxo

Uncle Carl, Jo-Anne, Karen, your children, grandchildren and great grandchildren....my deepest sympathies go out to you for the loss of someone you all loved so deeply....your wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother and my Aunt, Mildred. It was always very clear to me whenever I visited Aunt Mildred and Uncle Carl how proud they were of their daughters and their families. Mildred will be missed terribly by all that loved her or befriended her. I have such fond memories of her from the time I was a young girl growing up with her as my Aunt. I can only hope that heaven is everything she envisioned it to be, and more!

Our thoughts are with Uncle Carl, Karen, Jo-Anne, and your families as you grieve the loss of your wife, mother and granny. Aunt Mildred will be missed and her way of making a long story even longer as she could get side tracked in a second. She called me just before Uncle Carl's birthday and asked me for my recipe for date squares. I listed each ingredient two or three times when it became clear that if Uncle Carl was going to get date squares for his birthday, I was going to have to make them. Just as I was about to offer, she told me Karen was making them and the recipe was for her. Thank goodness for email. I do hope there is a casino in her celestial life. I am sure she will find time to go right after prayers. Rest in peace Aunt Mildred. You always looked beautiful!
