Obituary of Raymond 'Razor' Calvin Hill
Raymond Calvin Hill ( Razor ) - It’s with heavy hearts we are saddened with the sudden passing of a beloved husband and father, Raymond Hill. He is survived by his loving wife and soulmate of 18 years Lizabeth, and his children Amanda (Trevor) Woolley, Erika, Tyler (Kaileen), Tanner (Nicole), Jessica (Damon), Riley-Rose, Sean, Taylor-Rae, Tori, and Cassidy. Predeceased by his loving parents Hank and Gerda Ormel, and survived by loving father in law “Newf” ( Monique ) and many brothers, sisters, nieces and nephews. Ray was a family man who loved his wife and kids with his whole heart. He loved working with his hands almost as much as his Toronto Maple Leafs. Ray was a hard worker and always made sure through thick and thin he provided for his family. Whether it was golf, darts, baseball, hockey or work, Ray always gave it his all. Ray was born in the St. Catharine’s hospital and grew up in Vineland, Ontario. It was there he learned his hard work ethic and how to be a real family man. Ray went on to have 10 beautiful children and start his own successful renovation business. Years later Ray started having many health issues which required him to slow down. Despite his many obstacles Ray always kept a positive outlook on life. He will be sorely missed by all that loved him but we take comfort in knowing he’s with his Heavenly Father. Friends are invited to join the family at Garden City Funerals and Cremations(Formerly the Patrick J Darte Funeral Chapel), 39 Court Street (Downtown), visiting Friday July 14, 2023 from 11am until 1pm. A Funeral Service in Celebration of his Life will take place at 1pm in the funeral home chapel with cremation to follow.
“Even though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil, for you are with me; your rod and your staff, they comfort me.” Psalms 23:4
