Please accept my sincere condolences to the Strupp family on the loss of Jack Strupp. I was very fortunate to have Jack Strupp as a coach and teacher during my time at ENSS. He encouraged excellence and brought out the best in his students and athletes. He fostered a good work ethic in cross- country practices which paid off in cross-country meets. As a testament to Jack’s coaching I’m still running in races today. I thank you Jack from the bottom of my heart for your unwavering dedication and commitment to your students and athletes. Rest in peace.

One of my favourite Teachers from ENSS, simply example setting wonderful human being, big heart, so sad to hear of Jack's passing, can still hear his voice, always think of Mr Strupp when passing by ENSS. RIP Mr Strupp, if he heard that he would correct me and say, it's just Jack. You were always Mr Strupp, out of sheer respect to me.

My sincere condolences to the Strupp family on the loss of Jack - he was a straight up, enthusiastic & personable man who dedicated himself to family, friends & his community. I had the privilege of being one of his first runners and later fellow teacher & coach at ENSS along him. I can still hear him shouting across the track & gym. He was one of a kind, stepping in with passion & commitment to coach & teach. Thank you Jack for touching so many lives & being there for me when I needed someone to show me how working hard at training & racing in running would be my key to unlocking many doors later in like. RIP.

I can’t seem to creat an account,so I’ll add to Harold’s comment. Mr Strupp, and he’ll always be Mr Strupp to me, was a great teacher, coach, person. I have so many examples of him working so hard on behalf of the teams he coached. As an example, I am forever grateful that he bundled us up in a van and drove us up to Hwy 7 to run along side Terry Fox. He recognized what Terry was doing long before most and wanted us to see, participate and encourage. A one of a kind icon, who’ll be missed

I am so sorry to learn of Jack's passing. Jack and I taught Phys Ed together at ENSS in Brighton, coached legions of young athletes, and survived years on the ENSS Teachers hockey team! To say Jack was enthusiastic is to put it mildly! He was an excellent athlete, showing his classes that a big man could run up Tackaberry Hill ahead of most of his class…sometimes several times a day!! He truly cared about his students and team members, encouraging them to do their best. I cherish the three decades we taught together at ENSS.

Hazel, Grant and Adrian- please accept my heartfelt condolences on Jack's passing. He was a true gentleman, someone for whom kids and staff respected immensely. His passion for sports and making his athletes better was clearly evident. More importantly, he was a family man and was fiercely loyal and supportive of his family. He made his Mark in many ways and we are all.lucky to know him, be friends and colleagues of his. Rest in peace Jack.

I'll always think of him as Mr. Strupp. Jack was not only a great teacher but also a great mentor and person. He fostered my love of sports and reinforced the critical lessons learned from being part of a team. I wish that I had taken the time to track him down and tell him these things myself. Rest well Jack (Mr Strupp).
