Growing up alongside the McMain kids, I have so many different memories of Mrs McMain. I remember she tended to me on my 5th? birthday when I got stung by a bee and she took me into the house to wash off my arm. Then she so kindly sat me on her lawn for a birthday photo saying I should stop crying bc it would ruin the picture. Made sense. So I stopped crying. I will unearth the photo in 5 min or 5 years depending on Karma. I will share it then. With love and condolences to Dr McMain, Karen, Shelly, Margo and Paul-i-wog and their families. I was so sorry to hear of the passing of Mrs.McMain. Our condolences to the entire family. Her warmth and smile often greeted me on visits with our children to the medical practice for wonderful care. I always enjoyed our chats with she and Dr.McMain on our travels, politics and events of the day. She exemplified the qualities of a generation of life time nurses who exuded professional calm and care carried with grace and in her case sprinkled with humour at just the right moment. So sorry to learn of Mary's passing. I have fond memories of her from when I worked at TD in St Catharines many years ago. Mary was very kind, sincere, always jovial, I enjoyed her laugh and accent.
