Obituary of Brenda Cooperman

Cooperman, Brenda Joyce (known as “Brown”) August 15, 1951 … September 5, 2019 With her family by her side, it is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Brenda on September 5th at the age of 68 after a courageous ages battle with cancer. Brenda will be lovingly remembered by her husband Peter, her daughters Kristie (Marc) Ross, Jill (Stephen) Santo, her stepsons Joseph (Charlotte) Cooperman and Benjamin (Stephanie) Cooperman. Her beloved grandchildren Wesley, Vincent, Michael, Jamie, Alexandra, Gabriel, Samuel, Joshua, Aenea, Nathan and great grandson Carter. Brenda will be forever remembered by her siblings Mary Ann Davey and Donnie Klager along with extended family and dear friends. While Brenda spent the majority of her career establishing and running a successful accounting firm with her husband, her real passions lie as an artist and time spent with family and friends. She worked in many mediums but her talent is best displayed as a painter, her life and travels captured in her artwork. Her love of the outdoors lead her on many adventures, best described as shenanigans involving friends, family and always good food and wine. We wish to thank all the wonderful doctors and nurses at the Walker Family Cancer Centre as well as Hospice Niagara for their care, kindness and compassion. A funeral service will be held at Patrick Darte Funeral Chapel at 39 Court Street St. Catharines (905-685-6584) on Friday September 6, 2019 at 2pm. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Hospice Niagara in honour of Brenda.
