Gerden, Joe Passed away peacefully at the Port Colborne Hospital on Sunday, December 28, 2014. In his 82nd year, Joe Gerden, beloved husband of Louise Gerden. Loving father of Cynthia (Stuart MacLeod) and Diane Gerden (Andre Beaulac).Loved grandpa of Cassandra, Nicholas, Andrea, Devon and Jacob.Dear brother of Frank (late Phyllis), Minka (late Ivan), Frances (late Frank), John (Mary) and Tony (Kathy). Fondly remembered by his nieces and nephews. Joe loved his family. His favourite time of year was the fall.The arrival of English Johnny and Trevor, meant the preparations for the annual hunting trip were well under way. Joe loved his friends.Visitation will be held at the Patrick J. Darte Funeral Chapel, 39 Court St., St. Catharines (905-685-6584) on Tuesday December 30, 2014 from 2 to 4pm and 7 to 9pm. A funeral service will be held in the funeral home on Wednesday, December 31, 2014 at 1pm. Interment in Victoria Lawn Cemetery.
