Obituary of Fritz Karl Loitsch
LOITSCH, Fritz
Passed away peacefully at the Greater Niagara General Hospital on Sunday February 28 in his 72nd year after a valiant battle with cancer. Fritz was supported and cared for by his long-time partner Debbie Cleverley and will be sadly missed by her children Amber, Hillary and granddaughter Madyson. Survived by his sisters Monika From and Judy Osborne. He will be greatly missed by his nieces and nephews Lisa, Tania, Brandon, Tracey and Lee and many great nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his parents Gottfried and Anna Loitsch.
Fritz emigrated from Austria to Canada on April 12, 1957. Fritz designed and built restaurants and hotels for many years, building lasting relationships with all the people he met through his work. Fritz resided at the Beacon/Ramada while maintaining the hotel.
He lived life large and will be missed by all those he loved.
A heartfelt thank you to the owners and staff at the Beacon/ Ramada for all of their kindness and support, and to the Saint Elizabeth Nurses and the care giving staff with LHIN.
As per his wishes, cremation has taken place and a celebration of his life will be announced at a later date.
