Obituary of John D'Elia

D’Elia, John Passed away peacefully at the Meadows of Dorchester in Niagara Falls on Tuesday, March 2, 2021. In his 91st year, John D’Elia, beloved husband of Raffaela, loving father of Carmen MacLeod (late John) and Robert D’Elia (Connie), loved Nonno of Jason (Kate), Sarah (Rafal), Victoria, John (Erin) and the late Rafaela. Bis Nonno of Tristan, Emelia and Addison. Fondly remembered by his nieces and nephews in Canada, Italy and Argentina. Predeceased by his brothers Mike and Tony and sisters Marianna and Concetta. Long before social media and Google, John managed to find his "paisans" who had, like him, left Italy for "America". Eager to reconnect with these long lost friends, John would jump in his car and armed with a map embark on a road trip. Those who knew John, knew he loved road trips and would happily embark on these adventures with anyone that wanted to join him. John was a kind and generous man who enjoyed the company of his family and many friends. Due to current health concerns, private visitation and funeral liturgy has been held.
