Obituary of Sydney Magder

Magder, Sydney Peacefullly at the St. Catharines General Hospital on Friday May 8, 2009. In his 88th year, Sydney Magder, beloved husband of Beatrice Magder (nee Zenner). Loving father of Jeffrey (Misha), Bob (Christina) and Mark (Marilee). Proud grandfather of Melissa (Rob), Jennifer, Nathan, Sarah Jane (Markian), Lindsay (Kevin), Corey (Madison) and Cameron (Stephanie). Dear brother of Rhoda (Jack Applebaum). Godfather of Sidney Roberts. Fondly remembered by his nephews and nieces. Predeceased by his brothers Irving and Joseph and a sister Ann. Special thanks for dad’s care to Dr. Dang, Dr. Roberts, Dr. Samosh, , Dr. Hartman and the hospital staff of the third floor. A funeral service was held at the Patrick J. Darte Funeral Chapel (905-685-6584) on Sunday May 10, 2009. Interment was in B’nai Israel Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to the St. Catharines Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated by the family.
