Thornley, Renée ~ Peacefully at the N.H.S, St. Catharines Site on Tuesday, March 22, 2016. In her 96th year, Renée Thornley (nee Sipe), beloved wife of the late Gilbert Thornley. Loving mother of David (Christa), Christopher (Marcia) and Peter (Flo). Loving Nana of Jonathan, Sarah, Isaac and Alix (Emily). Fondly remembered by her nieces and nephews. Special thanks to Mary and Tom Garrett for their support and friendship over many years. Predeceased by a brother Leslie. Visitation will be held at the Patrick J. Darte Funeral Chapel, 39 Court St., St. Catharines (905-685-6584) on Thursday, March 24, 2016 from 2pm to 4pm and 7pm to 9pm. Memorial donations to St. Catharines Salvation Army or the charity of your choice would be appreciated by the family. --
