Obituary of Patrick Campion

CAMPION, Patrick ~ Peacefully at his home on Thursday, July 16, 2009 after a long illness with cancer. In his 78th year, Patrick Campion, beloved husband of the late Eileen Campion (nee Kenny) and the late Patricia Campion (nee Meany). Loving father of Helen (Richard Pennekemp), Peter (Janet), Patrick and John Campion. Lovingly remembered by his many grandchildren and great grandchildren. Dear brother of John, of Scotland, Luke, Anthony, Kitty, Ellen and Esther, all of Ireland. Fondly remembered by his nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his parents Patrick and Katharine (nee Hansard), by his brothers Jimmy and Michael and his sister Mary. Patrick’s working life was by trade a plasterer in Ireland, England and Canada. He also worked with General Motors for many years. His family wish to express special thanks to the staff at “The Loyalist.” Friends may call at the Patrick J. Darte Funeral Chapel, 39 Court St. (905-685-6584) St. Catharines on Sunday July 19, 2009 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9pm. A funeral service will be held at the funeral home on Monday July 20, 2009 at 11am. Rite of Committal and interment in Victoria Lawn Cemetery.
