Dobson, Evelyn ~ Peacefully at the Chateau Gardens in Niagara-on-the-Lake on Wednesday September 16, 2009. In her 77th year, Evelyn Mary Dobson (nee Devine), the loving wife of John Dobson for fifty-one years. Loving mother of Deborah, Mary, William, Patrick and Theresa. Loving grandmother of Michelle, Chelsea, Melinda, Elyssa, Emily, Madison, Ryan, Thomas and Christopher. Dear sister of Shirley, Irene and Vera. A kind, loving, honest but shy person who loved her family, friends, home, orchard, trips and church. Friends may call at the Patrick J. Darte Funeral Chapel, 39 Court St., St. Catharines (905-685-6584) on Friday September 18, 2009 from 2 to 4 pm and 7 to 9pm. Funeral Liturgy will be celebrated at St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church, 73 Picton St., Niagara-on-the-Lake on Saturday September 19 at 10am. Vigil prayers will be held at the funeral home on Friday at 3pm. Interment in Niagara Lakeshore Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to the Arthritis Society would be appreciated by the family.
