ALTIERI Gino … Peacefully surrounded by his family at the St. Catharines General Hospital on Friday, November 6, 2009 at the age of 72. Beloved husband of Mary Altieri (nee Damiano) for 42 years. Dear father of Anna Maria Tripodi (Stephen) and Michael Altieri (Nicole). Cherished grandfather of Nico, Maceo and Mikey. Dear brother in law of Guiseppe Damiano and Berny Damiano (Angelo). Dear uncle to Natalie (Barry), Jane and Christine and many other nieces and nephew. Friends may call at the Patrick J. Darte Funeral Chapel, 39 Court St., St. Catharines (905-685-6584) on Sunday, November 8, 2009 from 2 to 4pm and 7 to 9pm. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Mary of the Assumption Roman Catholic Church, 169 St. Paul Cres. St. Catharines on Monday, November 9, 2009 at 11am. Rite of Committal in Victoria Lawn Cemetery. Vigil prayers will be held at the funeral home on Sunday at 7pm. Memorial donations to Breast Cancer Research and Education Fund appreciated by the family.
