Giroux, “Butch” Richard ~ Peacefully at his home in Thorold on Friday April 16, 2010. In his 62nd year, Richard “Butch” Giroux, loving husband of Linda Giroux(nee Moline). Loving Dad of Bonnie (Darren Pitz), Lisa Giroux, Cynthia Giroux and Leo Giroux (Lacey), all of St. Catharines. Loved Papa of Ashley, Kayla, Collin, Marcy, Cory, Laura and Larissa. Dear brother of Eugene Giroux, Victor Giroux (Lucy), Eileen (George Stafford) and Isabel Brenton. Fondly remembered by his nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his parents Leo and Edna Giroux, his parents-in-law Harry and Grace Moline. Friends may call at the Patrick J. Darte Funeral Chapel, 39 Court St., St. Catharines (905-685-6584) on Sunday April 18, 2010 from 2 to 4pm and 7 to 9pm. A funeral service will be held in the funeral home Chapel on Monday April 19, 2010 at 11am. Interment in Victoria Lawn Cemetery. Memorial donations to the Ontario Lung Association would be appreciated by the family.
