Obituary of Anne Rossman

ROSSMAN Anne … Peacefully with her family by her side on Wednesday, August 4, 2010 at the age of 90. Loving wife of the late Alec Rossman (2008). Devoted mother of Michael (Catherine), Harvey (Maida) and Robert (Janice). Cherished grandmother of Jordan, Chelsea, Alysa, Rebecca, Aaron, Talia and Naomi. Will be missed by her sister Ethel Machtinger. Anne is the Past President of both the Niagara Hospital Auxiliary and the local Port Colborne Chapter of Mentally Challenged Children. She was a champion curler and enjoyed her antiquing. She also enjoyed traveling with her beloved Gyro / Gyrettes to see the world. Funeral service to take place on Friday, August 6, 2010 in the chapel of PATRICK J. DARTE FUNERAL CHAPEL (39 Court Street., St. Catharines 905-685-6584) at 2p.m. Interment to follow at B’nai Israel Cemetery (Bunting Rd.). The family will be sitting Shiva at the house (41 Tennessee Ave. Port Colborne) and (108 Acton Ave. Toronto) with evening services at 7:30 p.m. Sunday to Wednesday (Port Colborne). Memorial donations to Cystic Fibrosis would be appreciated by the family.
