Obituary of Carl Ahlberg

Ahlberg, Carl - Suddenly at his home in St. Catharines on Sunday October 31, 2010. In his 64th year, Carl Wayne Ahlberg, dear brother of David, of Sarnia, Neil (Patricia), of Willowdale. Uncle of Katherine, Eric, and Bridget. Remembered by cousins in Nova Scotia, Carl and Stephen Deal and his cousins in Sweden, Lars and Margareta Parletun. Predeceased by his parents Ture (Saffle, Sweden) and Margaret (nee. Leitch) (Halifax, N.S.). Carl was a retired electronic technician with the Canadian Coast Guard. His many interests were a car enthusiast, etymology, radios and nutrition. Friends may call at the Patrick J. Darte Funeral Chapel, 39 Court St., St. Catharines (905-685-6584) on Friday November 5, 2010 from 11am to 1pm. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at the Cathedral of St. Catherine of Alexandria, 67 Church St., St. Catharines on Friday , November 5, 2010 at 1pm. Rite of Committal in Victoria Lawn Cemetery. Memorial donations to either the Canadian Mental Health Institute or to a catholic charity of your choice would be appreciated by the family.
