Hogan, Doris Peacefully and surrounded by her family at the Douglas Memorial Hospital in Fort Erie on Friday, March 11, 2011 . In her 90th year, Doris Eleanor Hogan (nee Kahler),beloved wife of the late Jack Hogan (2004). Loving mother of Ron Hogan (Donna) and Gale Allan (late Jack). Loving grandmother of Kimberly (Scott Sampson) and Ashley. Dear sister of Ray Kahler (Jo). Dear sister-in-law of Margaret Hogan (late Leo), Cecil Hogan (Late Rose), Mary Dean (Late Bruce), Theresa (Bill Beales) and Lorne Hogan (Doreen). Fondly remembered by her nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her son-in-law Jack Allan, by four sisters Gladys (Norman Farr), Gwen (Harold Ferguson), Phyllis (Bill Terry) and Mary Kahler, by sister and brother-in-laws Bill Hogan (Nel), Leo Hogan, Frank Hogan (Florence), Clara (Alfie Lewis), Margaret Hogan, Rose Hogan and Bruce Dean. Friends may call at the Patrick J. Darte Funeral Chapel, 39 Court Street,St. Catharines (905-685-6584) on Sunday March 13, 2011 from 2 to 4pm and 7 to 9pm. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Alfred Catholic Church, 272 Vine Street, St. Catharines on Monday March 14, 2011 at 11am. Rite of Commital to follow in Victoria Lawn Cemetery. Vigil service will be held at the funeral home on Sunday evening March 13 at 8pm. Memorial donations to the Canadian Cancer Society, the Ontario Heart & Stroke Foundation or the Canadian Diabetes Association would be appreciated by the family.
