Haluska, William (World War II Veteran) Peacefully at the Hotel Dieu Shaver Hospital in St. Catharines on Friday May 6, 2011. In his 89th year, William Haluska,the loving husband of Norma Haluska (nee Benvenuti).Loving father of Patricia Bradley (Stanley Wiacek),John Haluska (Theresa) and Thomas Haluska (Julia). Loving grandpa of Bruce Bradley (Leigh), Kelly Haluska, Michael Haluska,Barabara Haluska and Matthew Haluska. Great grandpa of nine. Especially remembered by Diane Cormier. Dear brother of Marjorie (Fred Zurba) and Charlie.Loved brother-in-law of Mary, Dina, Rita, Linda and Pat (Frank). Fondly remembered by his nieces and nephews. Dear friend of Rosemarie Reynolds. Predeceased by a granddaughter Cindy (1976) and four brothers Joseph, John, Steven and Harry. Bill worked at General Motors for thirty-eight years and was an Active unionist. He was a retired member of CAW Local 199. Friends may call at the Patrick J. Darte Funeral Chapel, 39 Court St., St. Catharines (905-685-6584) on Tuesday May 10, 2011 from 2 to 4pm and 7 to 9pm. Funeral prayers will be held in the funeral home chapel on Wednesday, May 11,2011 at 11am. Interment in Victoria Lawn Cemetery. Vigil prayers will held at the funeral home on Tuesday May 10, 2011 at 3pm. Memorial donations to the Ontario Heart & Stroke Foundation or to the Hotel Dieu Shaver Hospital Foundation would be appreciated by the family.
