Obituary of Jean Smith

Smith, Jean “Jeannie” ~ It is with great sorrow that we announce the passing of Jeannie on July 23, 2011 at the age of 76. Jean Marie Smith (nee Reynolds, loving wife of Thomas James “Smitty” Smith. Mother of Marian (Tom), Tom (Sandy), Nathan (Sue), Michael (Kelly), Terry (Corinne) and Sharon. Sister of Reggie (Gladys) and Arthur (Ethel). Loving Grandmother of eleven grandchildren and seven great grandchildren. Predeceased by her parents Joseph Wyman Reynolds and Mary Margaret Reynolds (nee McNeil), by a brother Harry Reynolds and by sisters Mary Christink, Charmaine Little, Ann Harnish and Carmel Monminie. Our family would like to thank all of those in the health care system that played a roll in the care and comfort of our mother through this trying time of her life. Friends may call at the Patrick J. Darte Funeral Chapel, 39 Court St., St. Catharines on Wednesday, July 27, 2011 from 2pm to 5pm. A funeral service will be held in the funeral home chapel Wednesday, July 27, 2011 at 5pm. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated by the family. The world has another angel.
