Obituary of Joseph Sidney Richards

RICHARDS Joseph Sidney "Joe" ~ Uncle Joe passed away peacefully at the Hotel Dieu Shaver on Sunday Feb. 5, 2012, at the age of 81, after a short illness. Predeceased by his parents Sidney & Irene, brothers William & Vincent and sisters Catharine and Beverley. Joseph worked for CN and retired at an early age of 58. Uncle Joe was very proud of all his nieces and nephews. Barbara (Julian) Mambella, Connie (Gerry) Rae, Dianne Rennie) Romanin, Catherine Curtis, Linda Chaisson, Robert Richards, Donna Richards, William Richards, James Richards, Janie Smith, Dennis Bausch, Marianne Walters, and many Great and Great Great nieces and nephews. Many thanks to the Nurses and Doctors at the Greater Niagara General Hospital (Emergency). Many thanks to the Nurses, Doctors, and Staff in the Palliative Care, at the St. Catharines General Hospital. and many thanks to the Nurses, Doctors, and Staff at Hotel Dieu Shaver Hospital. Joseph's Nieces and Nephews will receive friends at the Patrick Darte Funeral Chapel 39 Court St., St. Catharines, Wednesday, February 8, 2012 from 7 - 9 pm. Funeral Liturgy will be Celebrated on Thursday, February 9, 2012 at the Cathedral of St. Catherine, Church St. at 10 a.m. Cremation to follow. As an expression of sympathy donations may be made to Hotel Dieu Shaver Hospital.
