Semerjian, Sylvia Peacefully at Linhaven Home for the Aged in St. Catharines with family by her side on Tuesday, March 6, 2012. In her 88th year, “Sylvia” Siranoosh Semerjian (nee Checkmenian), beloved wife of the late Nerses Semerjian. Loving mother of Mary (Joseph Feor), Haig (Catherine) and Vartan (Sarah). Loving grandmother of Sarah (Anthony), Leah, Alexandre, Adrianna (Neil) Gertrude, Camille (Sain), Catherine and Noah. Great grandmother of Evan. Predeceased by a daughter Angela (Andres).Sylvia’s family wish to thank the Linhaven staff for their loving care and support. Friends may call at the Patrick J. Darte Funeral Chapel, 39 Court St.,St. Catharines (905-685-6584) on Thursday March 8, 2012 from 2 to 4pm and 7 to 9pm. A funeral service will be held in the funeral home chapel on Friday, March 9, 2012 at 11am. Interment in Victoria Lawn Cemetery.
