Kannegieter , Cornelis “Cor” ~ Peacefully at the Henley House in St. Catharines on Tuesday, July 17, 2012. In his 87th year, Cornelis A. Kannegieter, loving father of Nicoline Bouwman and Mark (Maj-Britt). Loved “Opa” of Jacqueline (Kenneth ), Anna-Marie (Rowan), Maresa, Katrina, Nyah and Zoe. Great “Opa” of Taylor and Avery. Dear brother of Paul (Wil) and John (Bep). Fondly remembered by his nieces and nephews. Predeceased by a son Alwin, by a great granddaughter Sydney, by two brothers Adri and Bert and one sister Jo. Cor was a partner with K & Z Insurance Brokers in the Niagara area. Friends may call at the Patrick J. Darte Funeral Chapel, (905-685-6584) 39 Court St., St. Catharines on Thursday, July 19, 2012 from 2 to 4pm and 7 to 9pm. A funeral service will be held at St. John’s Anglican Church, 12 Carleton St., S., Thorold on Friday July 20, 2012 at 11am. Memorial donations to World Vision would be appreciated by the family.
