Obituary of Michael Laffin

Laffin, Michael Peacefully with his loving friend Jeanette and his sister Ann at Hospice Niagara in St. Catharines on Thursday, August 2, 2012. In his 72nd year, Michael Laffin, “Pops” of Dale (Karen) and Shon (Paula) and their children. Dear brother of Ann Laffin and Judy (Jimmy Penny). Fondly remembered by his nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his parents Dan Joe and Doris Laffin, by three brothers Kevin, Joseph and Martin, by three sisters Gwen, Bernadette and Eleanore. The family wish to express their sincere thanks to Dr. Linda Lee, Dr. Bruce Rosenberg, the nurses and staff at Niagara Hospice. Friends may call at the Patrick J. Darte Funeral Chapel, 39 Court St., St. Catharines (905-685-6584) on Friday August 3, 2012 from 2 to 4pm and 7 to 9pm. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Patrick’s Catholic Church, 31 Chestnut St., E., St. Catharines on Saturday August 4, 2012 at 2pm. Rite of committal to follow in Pleasantview Memorial Gardens Cemetery, Fonthill. Vigil prayers will be held in the funeral home on Friday, August 3, 2012 at 8:30pm.
