Obituary of Louis McLean

McLean, Louis ~ Peacefully at the Garden City Manor in St. Catharines on Tuesday, August 28, 2012. In his 79th year, Louis Vincent McLean, beloved husband of Diane McLean (nee Quinn). Loved father of Kim (Bob Tolsma), Quinn McLean, Chris McLean (Tina). Dear grandfather of Karleigh, Marisha, Kacia, Atticus and Saskia. Louis was born in Sydney Mines, Nova Scotia on December 1, 1933. He served during the Korean War with Princess Patricia’s Canadian Light Infantry, a member of the Korean Veteran’s Association and the Royal Canadian Legion. Louis worked and retired from Ontario Paper (now Abitibi Paper). He served many years as a volunteer coach and executive member of St. Catharines Softball and St. Catharines Minor Hockey. Friends may call at the Patrick J. Darte Funeral Chapel, 39 Court St., St. Catharines (905-685-6584) on Friday, August, 31, 2012 from 10:30am to 11:30am. Funeral prayers will be held in the funeral home chapel on Friday August 31, 2012 at 11:30am.
