Obituary of Laura Pero

PERO, Laura Jean (nee Sowchuck) Passed away peacefully, with her children by her side, on August 4, 2021 at the Greater Niagara General Hospital in her 84th year. Predeceased by her beloved husband, Michael Pero (1997). Loving mother to Laurie and her husband Dwayne Rykse, Patrick and his wife Melissa. Devoted grandmother to Dylan (Courtney), Zachary, Jessica (Taylor) and Taylor. Proud great grandmother to Brody. She will be greatly missed by many wonderful nieces, nephews and friends. Laura will be lovingly remembered for her strong faith, her devotion to family and friends and her great zest for life. Patrick J. Darte Funeral Chapel has been entrusted with arrangements. A private Funeral Mass will be held at St. Denis Roman Catholic Church (230 Lake Street, St. Catharines). Rite of Committal to follow at Victoria Lawn Cemetery.
