Fred and I knew each other when we were in our late teens/early twenties. He always had a smile and a great sense of humour. I always remember a mutual buddy (George) telling me a story about the time he went up north fishing with Fred and they caught a turtle and Fred made the guys a turtle soup which I'm told was absolutely delicious. Yes, Fred had a great sense of humour but he was a great cook too.
Fred was a great guy and the world was a better place with him in it (I bet he's busy making a great turtle soup for everyone in heaven as we speak). Thanks for the fun memories and the many laughs Fred. God bless you old and may you rest in peace.

Fred was introduced to me by his brother Bob. While our friendship was brief, you quickly knew that Fred shared Bob's passion for fishing. We were saddened to hear about the passing of Fred at such a young age. He was a caring brother in law who was always happy and smiling through every situation. We send our condolences to the Wong family for this terrible loss. We will all forever miss him.
